Your family's information, handled with care.
What we collect
We only hold what you give us and what we need to run Jerry:
- Account information — your name, email address, and a secured (hashed) password.
- The care information you enter — medications, conditions, allergies, care tasks, notes, messages, and anything else you record about the person you care for.
- Device tokens — so we can send the push notifications you ask for.
- Voice recordings — when you use voice mode, audio is processed in the moment to understand and respond, then discarded. We don't keep the recording.
Where your data goes
Jerry runs on a small set of trusted providers. Your information is used to operate the service — nothing more.
- Supabase — stores your data in US-based Postgres databases and file storage.
- Anthropic (Claude) — powers Jerry's AI answers and assistance.
- Deepgram (speech-to-text) and Cartesia (text-to-speech) — power voice mode.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where we are: beta, and what that means
Jerry is currently in beta. We have not yet entered into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with our infrastructure providers, which means Jerry is not HIPAA-compliant during beta.
In plain terms: the care information you enter is processed by the third-party services listed above under their standard commercial terms, not under healthcare-specific agreements. Please don't enter anything you wouldn't be comfortable having processed that way. We'd rather tell you this plainly than bury it.
Your rights
- Delete your account anytime. In the mobile app, open your profile and choose Delete account. Deletion cascades through all of your data.
- Export your data. Email us at hello@jerryliving.com and we'll send you a copy.
- State privacy rights. We honor right-to-delete and related rights under the CCPA, Washington's My Health My Data Act (MHMDA), California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA), and other state laws — regardless of where you live.
If something goes wrong
We work to keep your data secure. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify affected users within 60 days and notify the Federal Trade Commission as required by the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule.
Cookies & analytics
This marketing site uses no third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics on it. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and disclose exactly what we use.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the effective date above and let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
